I've had enough interested that we can at least form a 5-man group to start with.

So, those that are interested, post in this topic what character you will be playing and what roles you can/want to do.

Level is not a defining factor much, as long as you're over 50 and under 70, hehe. More defining factor is that you don't carry a single Outland or Wrath item, so that the drops from dungeons and quests are actually meaningful.

Our prime targets will be BRD and ST to start with, and then moving on to Stratholme, Scholomance, Dire Maul and Blackrock Spire. Of course also as much quests related as possible, see wowwiki for gathering those - it'll be interesting.

And before the trolls come in ("this is different from what the classic content was"), yes, I'm aware that the talents and whatnot have changed it. That's not the point - the point is to explore and experience the content that classic had back then, not necessarily have it as hard as back then(we can't achieve that anyway, because of how the game has changed). This is not necessarily a challenge I'm craving from this; it's just simply doing the content I never have really done before, in a way that makes the classic drops meaningful instead of just mowing it over with Outland gear(or DKs...)

I will be forming the group whenever we have players online and interested, after all the dungeons don't take as long as raids so it's not that necessary to pre-plan.

So, my char is mah druid(64), dual specced and geared for kitty, bear and tree - and will do all of those as needed

Think i will go whit my rouge as my other 60's have some outland gear already tho they havent ben played much

so lv 60 rouge Zavill and well i would guess it is dps spec

currently 52 paladin (kiag) dual specced as holy for tier gear and would love to tank however i also have dps gear if needed (he was an awsome lvl 49 twink xD)

Mmkay, seems good. I guess we're good with Freakenstein healing and Kiag tanking? (I can occasionally swap to healing or tanking if it's needed, got gear for them as well.)

Yep, we're on our way. I suggest doing some high-end quest areas if you have spare time, as Silithus/Plaguelands/Blackrock Mountain areas have some great questlines that eventually lead into the dungeons we will be doing.

I will be picking up all the quests for said dungeons, can will share what I can when we're getting started.

Yep, I am just about as ready as I can(will be trying to chase the Scepter of the Shifting Sands questline in the meantime). Got a log full of lvl 60 dungeon quests, with the occasional group or raid quest thrown in.

When would you guys be ready to start this circus, do a BRD or something?

I'm ready now, but considering lvling up my priest as i want a lvl 80 caster dps and healer and the guild doesn't have a ryt lot of shadow priests.

Update to this situation: my druid already dinged 66(due to me not stopping exp gain so I can get into bg's to get rep... long story). It's clearly over the level I was intending.

Add to the fact that quite a few people were interested, but did not quite have a character up there yet.

So, we will postpone this project until we actually have enough characters at the right level(me included). I will return to this subject when I(inevitably) level my next alt - and that one I will freeze exp @ 60 for just this purpose.

Post here if one day you have a character near lvl 60/stopped at 60 and want to take part in this. If not sooner, then let's see where Cataclysm takes us in regards to lvl 60 content. I will keep the project in mind, I hope you do as well.
